My gggrandfather Patrick O'Brien came from Tralee according to death cert in Manchester NH USA of 1939. Records seem to indicate that he was born 1852 and had sibling Julia b. 1844, Catherine b. 1843, and Timothy b. 1855. Parents seem to have been Edward (Edmund) O'Brien and Mary Shea. Would like to speak with anyone who has interest and/or information - through this website, or email (brienoc@att.net) or tel: 203.788.6993 Bethel CT, U.S. Brien O'Callaghan

  • Dear Brien, can you give us any other information which may help us in our search? What records have you found already? Do you have naturalisation records/immigration records etc.? My grandmother's immigration record gives her exact address in Kerry and her father's name.

Tralee church records (St. John's RC) are generally very good. There is often more detail in the paper records than you will find on irishgenealogy.ie

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Martine
