Looking for any ancestors or descendants of Bartlie Mcgoey and Margaret Rooney ,Gubinea Lurganboy Leitrim They had a daughter Bridget DOB 6/1/1904 who married John Luke Kelly 1926 Glenade John lived in Coolagraffy Rossinver Sligo .Is Bartlie a proper name or short for something else or spelt wrong just an unusual name hope someone can help

His name was shown as Bartly in the 1901 and 1911 censuses. Both Bartly and Bartlie would be nicknames for Bartholomew. In 1901, their daughter Mary was living with them. Older son Bartly was living with Margaret's family nearby. By 1911 they had seven children and 11 year old Mary was with the Rooneys.

Thank you I have this info ,I'm looking for before 1900s or after 1920 would like to find any living relatives in Leitrim as I am going over to Ireland this year and would love to have relatives to visit but would also like to know about my roots as well thanks again for your help
