My Grandparent"s names are Henry Mackey & Margaret Murnane. My Father Michael was baptized in Fedamore in 1883. His brother James was baptized in Fedamore in1881. My Father came to the USA under his Mother's maiden name (Murnane in 1900. On the ship manifest it listed that he was a tailor and left from Glen.
In a previos post by a Clancy, there was mentioned that there was a Clancy & Murnane marriage in 1800 or there abouts.
I wonder if these two Murnanes were related?

The Fedamore RC records go back to 1806 http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0883 I would look for Margaret's baptismal record, identify her parents and see if you track back further.
