Margaret Hogan married, William Walsh (1864), the youngest son of Thomas Walsh and Margaret Slattery of Kilbehenny which is not far from Mitchelstown. Thomas and Margaret's children are

- Patrick (1858) who married Johanna O'Brien
- Mary (1862)
- William (1864 - 1925)
Patrick WALSH and Johanna O'Brien's children are

- David 1884
- Patrick 1885
- Edward 1887
- Pierce 1889
- Mary 1891
- Thomas 1893.
William moved to Australia, where he had a large family. There are many descendants in Australia but what became of the family in Ireland? I haven't heard of any contact between the couple in Australia and their Irish family.

The best way to begin is to try to find out more information about any children the ancestors you listed may have had. You can do this my looking at www.familysearch.org or www.rootsireland.ie (a subscription site). As some of them were born after 1864, when civil registration began in Ireland (generally speaking), you will be able to obtain civil records of their births, marriages and deaths. This will confirm what you already have and know, as well as giving you information that you can search on the National Archives Census Website at the link below.
