Barrett/Murphy Higgins Family

Hi

I am Looking for My Grand parents who were Annie Higgins Bourn in 1915 n swineford Ireland Died in wakefield UK1982

Francis or Frank Murphy born also in swineford Ireland 1912 and died in wakefield in 1944/46 due to a fall out of window.

And my grandmars second husband Micheal Barrett born 1906 in Ballina Iraland and died in 1992 in wakefield uk

I have come to a blank wall in finding any parents brothers sisters ect

Any help would be much appreached

The only baptism record I could find for Michael Barrett in Ballina around 1906 on www.rootsireland.ie/ was this one:

I couldn't find Annie or Francis I'm afraid.

You might want to have a look at the Irish Censuses (free online) which have 41 Higgins in Swineford, Mayo in 1911.

FreeBMD shows a possible marriage for your Frank and Anne in Salford district (Greater Manchester/Lancashire) , could this be correct ?

Quarter and Year : Jun 1937
Registration District : Salford
Bride : Annie Higgins
Grooms : Frank Murphy
Volume : 8d / Page : 795

If this looks promising then the marriage cert from GRO UK might be a good place to start your search, as it should include father's names and occupations.
