Thank you to everyone who has helped me with my search for my grandfather, Martin Henry Kennedy. Now I am trying to find information about Martin's mother, who is from "Farmon" and was married to Anthony Kennedy. According to a church marriage record I found, they married in Kilmore Erris on Feb. 11, 1873. But I have seen spellings for Mary Reily and Mary Reilly. Anthony was from the town of Cross.
Can anyone help me determine the correct surname spelling for Mary, the year she was born and her parents' names? I know there are many Mary Reillys or Reilys so I appreciate your help very much!

Hi Jane,
I think the townland you named as Farmon would be Termon pronounced Tarmon. There is one family of Reillys in Termon in the 1901 Census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Mayo/Binghamstown_Sout…
I would look at forums researching the Reillys of Termon and you may find her parents names and possibly the year she was born. As mentioned in my previous post it would be a good idea to contact Turas Siar who are located near to this townland. They run a heritage & research centre and the owner has Reilly in his family tree.
