Excavation workforce,Lough Gur, 1934

Its a scan of a poor copy only, due to the paper quailty( non glossy) of the orginal publication. "Rambling through Knockainey" 1988 ?

Pat Rourke is third from left in the back row. Professor O'Riordan is sitting sideways to the camera.

I know that this is a very old thread but just in case, here's a photo of men at the excavation along with their names.

My interest lies with Ned Conway (pictured), his father John Conway and Maura Stundon, housekeeper.
