Hi,

The Marriage Certificate and Baptism certificates from Roots Ireland most state Manister, Co. Limerick, one Fedamore, and one St Michael's, Limerick. Have the records For Manister been merged with Fedamore? I have traced 8 children of the above couple (5xgreat grandparents) married in Fedamore in 1817.

I will be in Ireland later this year and would like to visit the areas of my grandparent's birth.

Kind Regards,

Kerry

    Hello again!

Likely there was one parish in the 19th century and then Manister was established as a separate parish but that is a conjecture on my part. You may want to contact the parishes for an explanation.

  • Thanks Roger,

Do you administer both Cork and Limerick?

I'm a parish liaison for two parishes in Roscommon and one parish in Mayo. I respond to a lot of messages on the message board for all counties but primarily in the Republic of Ireland.
