My mother, Elizabeth Mary Doherty was born in Tournafulla, Co. Limerick on 9 October 1900, parents were John Doherty b. 30 Sep 1870 Tournafulla and d.1 Jun 1954 in Killaculleen, Templeglantine who on 20 Jan 1898 in Meelin, Cork married Bridget (O') Sullivan b. 20 Oct 1871 in Abbeyfeale and d. 8 Apr 1906 in Tournafulla .
Need more info regarding parents of John Doherty whose parents were Denis Doherty b. Abt 1837 Co. Limerick and d. Jan 1913 who married Bridget O'Connell b. Abt.1845 in Co. Limerick and d. Jul 1917.
Need more info regarding parents of Bridget (O')Sullivan whose parents were John Patrick O'Sullivan b. Abt. 1841in Co. Limerick who married Margaret O'Connell who was b. Abt. 1841 in Co. Cork. I do know that Margaret's parents were Patrick O'Connell and Mary Linehan but do not have any other information.
If there is anyone out there who can provide any information to add to what I've listed here, I'd greatly appreciate it.
My mother emigrated to the USA in 1926 and joined her sister and brothers in the New York area. Will be visiting in October and looking forward to the visit.

From 1901 Irish census for Toornafulla listed the following for John And Bridget

From 1911 census shows the following Doherty's in Tournafulla. Note spelling for Tournafulla is different from 1901 to 1911 census.
John Doherty's parents Denis and Bridget got married in 1866 in Abbeyfeale. It appears they had seven children. Mary 1868, John (your John) 1870, Daniel 1875, Margaret 1877, Hanora 1882, Bridget 1885, and Denis 1889.
Bridget O Sullivan's mother - do you know what part of Cork she was from ? Can't locate marriage record for Bridget's parents and subsequently a record of their children's birth or baptism.
Please let me know how you get on with your furture search and if any of the above fits in.
