Hello!
I will be in Limerick City March 7th and 8th 2024 and plan to visit my great grandmother’s hometown of Tournafulla. I have my 2x great grandparents civil death records but I am having a hard time locating where they are buried. They died in Tournafulla.
Thomas Wrenn 1838 - 27 Jun 1921
Registration District - Newcastle
Hanora (Harnett) Wrenn 1855 - 19 Aug 1906
Registration District - Newcastle
Possibly two of their 10 children remained in Ireland but I’m not positive about that :
Katherine b. 1893 (Katie Wrenn was present at her father's death in 1921)
Thomas b. 1895
I understand that there are three locations that they could be buried.
Templeglantine, Abbeyfeale and Monagea
I understand that there may not be headstones that exist but knowing where they are buried is something I’m hoping to confirm before I arrive in March.
Thank you in advance for any assistance that you can provide!

Hello Kaitlin
My name is Jennifer Jean and I must apologise for not having seen your message earlier. I actually live in Tournafulla and am very friendly with a couple of branches of the Wrenn family. However, I have yet to get to grips with their complete story. There is one 'missing' link from a sister who went to America early in this century but who has not been heard of since. So maybe when we start to investigate your links? Who knows.
However just to let you know that I will now been looking at your story here and will make sure that you have some knowledge before you arrive in Ireland but please be patient as it is a very busy time of the year. Rest assured that you not be forgotten

Hi Christina,
Thank you very much for the gravesite link. I had high hopes that I would find the gravesites on this site as it seems to have the graveyards that my gg grandparents would have been buried but there were no matches. I have also searched newspapers on the Irish Newspaper Archives site and no luck there either.
Hi Jennifer,
No worries at all! I know this time of year can be extremely busy so I completely understand.
I just submitted some lengthy family information on the meet and greet form. Are you able to view that or should I add the information here as well?
Thanks so much to everyone for responding :o)

Hi Jennifer!
I have checked my email but I’m not seeing an email from you for some reason. To confirm, my email address is idrawitall@gmail.com. I found the email that I sent to you in November and replied to that so hopefully if you email me back from that email I’ll be able to receive it with no problem.
Thanks so much!
Kait
