Greene family of co louth

there a a couple of sites that may assist you. The name was on aa business here in Drogheda until the last few years, it was a furniture store, think the name may still be there.

See http://www.collonhistoricalsociety.com/ By the way locally this is pronouced Cullen as it is from the Gaelic name as you can read on the site.

I am attaching a pdf from a copy of a trade directory for County Louth, Drogheda Section dated 1886 so you can see the Greenes named, the were the only names in it I think that had a business in recent times.

If they were Church of Ireland there may be records for that time which are been put on line.slowly but can be hard to find.

forgot to mention that a gentleman called Ted Greene has written was is seen as the definitive history of Drogheda, cost about €30 and available. He is often at local history talks.
