Looking for any information at all about this parish ... My ancestors the Jennings and the Hughes lived in Seeaghan, seechaun, etc..... also
The above four famlies represent my mother's father's heritage from Ballymachola and Coonelcauran and Seeghan, Seehanbaun, Kilfian parish Conneal Coonealmore or Coonealcauraun. They have a mile-long common border between them. The Ballysakeery RC parish church is in Coonealmore, practically on the border between the two townlands. So this would be the logical church for any resident of the Cooneal townlands. The two Seeaghan townlands are located about 4 miles WNW of the RC church in Coonealmore, and are in Kilfian civil and RC parish. The RC parish church there is located in Kincon village and townland, which is just 1 to 2 miles NNW of the Seeaghan townlands. In addition to being located in the "official" RC parish of Kilfian, I would think that the church for this parish, in Kincon, would be the more logical choice for Seeaghan residents. Here is a contact page for Kilfian parish, and sparse info on the only church in the parish - in Kincon:==

Some quick tips, Kilfian is also sometimes listed as Kilfyan, the RC parish covers the Civil Parish Rathreagh, so you want to look at that. Finally, in the late 1800s, may records are listed under the Killala district.
Here are some sites for records of the parish:
