Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The 1901 census for Moat townland in Kilbeg civil parish does not show any Carolan or Muldoon families.
The 1854 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Kilbeg civil parish does list a Matthew Carolan in Moat townland but no Muldoon head of households are shown.
I also located an 1828 Tithe record for Moat which listed a Bryan Carolan.

Thank you for the information ,I’m mystified that I cannot find them because they are there in the 1911 census in the town land of Moat. I was over last week from England trying to find the Moat itself no luck it was a miserable day raining no in the local farms all the Carolans are dead ,so I can’t ask them.

. I am also looking for Brian Carolan. down in the Springville area near Kells.

Hi Cassidy, I'm not sure if this is any help at all, but I have a few Carolans on my Ancestry Tree. Jane Carolan married James Bellew (1795-1876) who was the brother of my GGG Grandfather Christopher Bellew. Jane and James had a daughter Alicia (Alice) Bellew (1830-1887). All were born Nobber and Cruisetown, Louth. After James died, Jane remarried Peter Carlin(1803-1871), who was also from the same area. Jane and Peter were living in England when their daughter Ann Carlin was born in Wigan, Lancashire.

p.s. I would treat the information regarding remarriage with a degree of caution as it appears that James Bellew was still alive when Ann Carling was born. I'm sorry that this is so sketchy, but thought it might give you a lead
