I am trying to find out as much as I can about my Great Great Grandparents and beyond.
I have the following information.
James Kelly born 1831 married Mary McArdle born1827 at Tehallan/Tyholland 30th November 1848.( Witness on
the Record are John Kelly and Edward Rice.)
I believe their Townland was Leitrim They had the following Children born in the same parish before leaving for Liverpool,
Catherine Kelly born 1852
Mary Agnes Kelly born 1854 My Geat Grandmother (married Charles Sweeney in Liverpool 1878)
Rose Kelly born 1859
James Kelly born 1862
John Kelly born 1866 Liverpool
Patrick Kelly born 1867 Liverpool
My Dad used to visit quite often when he was a boy he mentioned Glasslough and the name Hughes
Any information would be Fantastic.

Hughes is quite a common name in the Glaslough area. I noticed these 3 families in the town in the 1911 census:
