I'm looking for My Great Grandmother Julia Colbourne's Family, she was the Eldest Daughter of James Colbourne and Mary Mongahan. She married William Flynn in 1923 who was in the Army. Spelling of the surname doesnt always remain the same. I was hoping someone will remember the colbourne family as I cannot find anything apart from my great Grandmother, Birth, Marriage, Death and the birth of her three sons.

Adam:
Hello again!
I looked for your family in the 1901 and 1911 censuses in the Banagher area with no success. Were they in Banagher then?

Father on census given as Patrick and not James but the daughter mistranscribed is Julia Anne with Birr being the registration for the birth and the 1923 marriage to Flynn.
1911

Yes Sorry I got the wrong Great Great Grandad mix up it is Patrick and thank you for the link for the marriage of Patrick and Mary in 1901. It just they are hard to track down due to the spelling of the surname keep changing as my Great Granny Julia was Coleburn, Colbourne, Coalbyrne on different things which made her diffcult to trace down.
From what I know i think Great Granny was from there as she got married in St Rynagh church and she lived there for a while until 1935 when the family went their own ways, the boys aged 7,8,10 were sent to Sligo to an Orphange there, she went to dublin to work until she passed away in 1984.

With any civil record you find you can obtain a research copy of the actual entry for a nominal sum of 4 euros from the link https://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/GRO_Research.aspx. A useful guide to ordering these http://www.swilson.info/irishcerts.php will take you through the process and identify what is contained with each type of entry beyond the details you will find with the links previously identified.
