I am looking for a marriage record for Fesus Kane/Keane and Mary Duane who were married between 1905-1908, according to 1911 census record for Garronbaun, Ballynakill, Galway, they were married for 5 years. He was born about 1875 in Clifden. Their children were all civilly registered in Renvyle, Clifden, but cannot find a civil marriage record for them. Most online records/NLI records only go up as far as 1880/1900. Can anyone help? Appreciate any assistance.
Thanks

Anne-Marie:
I could not find a 1905-1908 marriage for a Mary Duane in the Clifden registration district. I expanded the search and found this record which is likely a longshot but I thought I would pass it on. It is a 1904 marriage record for a Mary Anne Dunne in the Westport registration district. There were three possible male spouses recorded on the page including a Michael Kane. Any possibility that this would be your Festus and Mary?

Hi Roger,
Many thanks for your reply and info. I have checked in the GRO for all potential marriage records for them with various spellings, but nothing. I doubt it is them in Westport as their children's births from 1908 onwards were registered in the Clifden area and their parents are listed as Festus Kane and Mary Duane. I would think they married in the Clifden area. Festus Keane/Kane was from Maum, Errislanan, and Mary Duane was from Eyrecourt. She was working in Carraun Mor, Grange, Galway on a 1901 census return. Not sure where he was in 1901. They lived in Garronbaun, Ballinakill, Galway, in 1911.
Maybe something will turn up??
Thanks again, appreciate your help!
Regards
Anne-Marie
