Bartley (Bartholomew) Toolin m Anne Casey 05 Feb 1865 in Aghanagh parish, lived in Kiltycreaghtan, Boyle. There were several Bartley Toolans living close by and I am having a problem sorting them out.
Bartley and Anne had 7 children: 1. Mary Ellen, never married, lived with her parents.
2. Lawrence John (my great grandfather) m. Delia Hunt in Leominster, MA, USA.
3. Philip N. m. Catherine J. Tivnan in Leominster, MA, USA.
4. Bartholomew J. m. Nora Mullaney in Leominster, MA, USA.
5. Joseph came to USA but haven't found out whether he stayed or married.
6. Annie m. MIchael L. McCrann in Leominster, MA, USA.
7. Patrick m. Jane Brennan in Ireland.
I think even the spouses were from Boyle so there may be a back door for me to enter if you are familiar with any of these surnames. Thanks!

Dear Roger,
Thank you. The National Archive website was great. Now I just need to find out how these Toolin famlies are related. Any suggestions?

Kathy:
More than likely the Bartleys were named after the same ancestor i.e . a grandfather. Below is the Griffiths Valuation head of household data from 1855. There are a few Toolin/Toolan including a Bartholomew. You may also want to search Boyle Church records. There are two films (see below) maintained by the Mormon Church. You can order online at www.familysearch.org and look at the films at a local Family History Center.
