I am going to ireland this summer and would like to see my ancestor's farm when we visit Roscommon for the day. It was origiinally owned by Owen McDermott and his wife Susan Coffey McDermott. My Great Uncle Owen Died in 1955 -and his wife Susan died around 1960. I was told it was left to their nephew whose last name was Coffey. When I examined Owen's death certificate it said the informant was Brian Coffee. I hope that someone might remember this family and be able to help me find where thei farm was. Also on the death certificate it said location of death was in Curraghoe which I believe is near by.
Thank you
