My ggg grandparents were Michael McDonnell and Honorah Jane Nolan and they were probably born in the late 1700s. According to information on an admission card for their daughter Catherine McDonnell McCormack to the almshouse at Blackwell's Island in New York City, Honorah was a domestic. Do I assume that she was employed at the Mahon estate in the early 1800s or are there other possibilities? Many of the McDonnell relatives were from Cloonslanor. Thank you.

Hello siskabob
You may find this of interest re some of those with landholdings in Cloonfinlough. Many of those mentioned would have familial links with the Mahon people.
