Hello!
There was a James Forkan living in Drumdoolan, Kilkeevan CP in 1832 (Tithe Books). It is apparently not used in the 1851 lists. Maybe it's a subdenomination of another townland?
I am looking for this townland because his son Michael was probably the baptism sponsor for someone who may be in my family (Margaret Tully, born 1841, I think in Kiltullagh CP.)
My objective is to find the townland where Margaret lived with her parents: Owen Tully and Margaret (Donnellan).
I have found a Michael Forkan born in 1818 in Loughlynn RC parish, child of James and Brigi Forkan.
Thank you for your help!

The actual record indicates that Drumdoolan is a subdivision of Arm townland.

I also looked at the 1855 Griffiths Valuation head of houshold listing for Kilkeevin parish and there is a James Tully listed for Arm townland. No Owen Tully listed.

Thank you very much! I did want to find Drumdoolan but in fact the name I had found there was Michael Rogers, (not Michael Forkan) living there in the Tithe Books. A Michael Rogers was the sponsor for the baptism of Catherine Tully in 1833, Loughlynn RC parish. So, I was trying to find out if he could be the likely person.
I have so many names, dates, parishes, and townlands in front of me now, that it's a challenge to keep them all straight!
Many thanks!
