Hello,
I'm looking for information about a Patrick Feely or Feehily who was living in Carrowilkin (Carrowilkeen) between 1847 and 1864 when Griffith's Valuations were taken. He was married to a Mary Cahel or Cahill. His daughter Mary Ann was my 2x great grandmother. I am reasonably sure of a son Michael and perhaps a daughter Bridget. I know that Feehilys lived in that area for a very long time. Any information would be appreciated.

Hi,
As Patrick Feeley was alive at time of Daughters marriage in 1874, this is possibly his death record in 1880

My great grandmother was Brigid Fehily, born approx 1845, married Francis Dunleavy of Carrowntawy, Couny Sligo. Had 4 children, James, John, William and Margaret, she was last born, in 1874. Francis was a widower in the 1901 census. I have not found any information as to Brigid's death. If it may be the same Brigid please let me know. I have found no Fehiky ancestors to date.

Hi Frank, I think this might be a different Brigid. The Bridget I'm aware of married and emigrated I believe. But all those Feelys are very much connected. Keep looking!
