seeking information regarding Tobin family from Ballybacon parish. john tobin born about 1810 married Johanna Carrigan(born 1818) on 1 March 1840. moved to states in about 1852. children born in Tipp. co. = Edmund 1 jan. 1841, maurice 18 Sept. 1842, Patrick 5 Dec. 1844, Richard 4 June 1847, William 22 Feb. 1850; the preceeding info provided by Waterford Heritage Survey in 1996- i believe the records may have been from Ardfinnan? thank you for any help you may be able to provide. There are 2 baptism records of John Tobin in Tipperary on www.rootsireland.ie/
One is 1809 & 1 1810.
The records cost to view but will have the parish and MAYBE the parents' names.
There is also a baptism record of Johanna Carrigan in Tipperary 1818.
I could not find their marriage record.
