Searching for Sullivans

In Family search there are records, is he still alive?

There are quite a few sites that are free to search. We just need a little bit more info. 
On a marriage cert it would state his fathers name, do you have this?

Hi Margate. Thank you for your reply. He is still alive so unsure he much in can post. His father was John Sullivan and mother Agnes. He married in uk in 50s. He had sister Mary Ann and brothers Edward (Ted), John that I know of but no further info I'm afraid. Either he is reluctant or just doesn't know.

Carrick - on - Suir, some records come under Waterford.
I found one marriage for a John Sullivan and a lady called Agnes. (None listed in Tipperary)
Her Fathers name was John, so I looked in the 1911 Census and and there is one family with Agnes and father John.
In the same area as on the marriage.
The site I found the narriage only has births up to 1916, but, family search has them up to 1958 (I am in that list)
Trying to match the births of the children is a bit different as the mothers maiden name only came to belisted 1925 ish.
Does he know what John's occupation was?   I know it seems a bit daft but I may be able to get his death and then match up all the info.

Hi Margot. Apologies on your name previously, damn predicted text!
FIL sadly no knowledge of dates. He doesnt know his mother's maiden name. He doesnt seem to have a copy of his birth cert :(
Marriage in 1957 (Battersea,London) shows FIL as 23yrs old, making his birth 1934. His father is John Sullivan and his occupation was Retired General Labourer (not listed as deceased like MIL father).
Does the info you have found on Agnes show her maiden name?
I will see if can get anymore details from FIL but is proving difficult as seems to know very little. :(

I collected some info from what you said in the first post, I store them in word, there are a few links.
When you open the link for the marriage if the screen shows a green site, put john sullivan in the names boxes and click in the small box. you will see the marriage.
Her name was also Sullivan. Also the place is Portlaw.
The bottom link is the main www. etc for the site. Store it for further use.
Once you reply I delete any info I find,  ok.
