I looked on Roots Ireland and did not find a baptismal record for Ellen. I did find an 1844 record for a James Kirwan who presumably was her brother. Not sure why Ellen is not on Roots. Here is a link to the Loughmore RC parish register. You may want to look for the baptismal record for Ellen

Thanks, Roger! James is indeed Ellen's brother who died shortly after birth. Ellen's "Kirwan" last name is spelled something like Kearvein in Roots... I'd have to look it up again. I just got back from a month in Ireland and a visit to several of my ancestor's homesteads...
