Am I correct that the townland of Mocklershil is part of Magorban?
From research done by TFHR I've learned that Edmond Carew and Mary Duggan lived in Mocklershil from at least 1829 through 1839 and perhaps longer. Mocklershil is listed in two of six baptismal records for their children. Edmond and Mary were married in 1820 in Fethard but their children were baptized in Cashel. My estimate is that Edmond Carew was born abt 1796 and Mary Duggan was born abt 1803 but I do not know their parents. Additionally, the Carew surname may be entered as Carey.
Edmond and Mary Duggan and family emigrated around 1839 - 1842 first showing up in New Glasgow, Quebec, Canada. Later they moved to Troy NY. I have the family fairly well documented in North America but would love to know the townland of birth of Edmond Carew and Mary Duggan.

You are correct that Mocklershill townland is in Magorban civil parish.I checked the 1830 Tithe Applotment listings for Magorban parish. There was only one Carew listed: a widow Carew in Caulreen townland which I'm speculating is the townland of Coleraine in Magorban parish. Possibly, the widow Carew is the mother of Edmond. You can go to http://titheapplotment.nationalarchives.ie and search the records.
