Hi,
I am looking for any records of my 3rd Great Grandfather and Grand Mother Robert Burgess and Jane Hayes. I have two possible birth years for Robert (1795 and 1788). He married Jane Hayes in 1820 i believe. His parents may be Abraham Burgess and Mary Hall. He has several brothers that i know of (Robert, Abraham, John and Thomas) He was rumored to have been born in the lodge at Castle Ottway. Maybe his mother worked there? If anyone has ANY info i would be sooooooo grateful.

Unfortunately, Catholic records for Templederry only go back as far as 1840:
However, in the19th century new Catholic parishes were created so starting dates can sometimes be misleading. Many parishes changed their geographical spread so you may find earlier records relating to your family in the records of adjoining parishes:
