Special thanks to Roger McDonnell, volunteer from Castlemore Roscommon, who encouraged me earlier today to get back in the records to find the Walsh/Brien marriage. They are my 2 X Great Grandparents. I went back and found it! They were married on February 28, 1813 at Thurles, Tipperary (Cashel/Emly). I found this in the Catholic Parish Registers. Now I have a simple ask. Would someone please look at this record and decipher it for me. It appears to note the place where each of newlyweds had previously lived. It should be a very quick look.
With gratitude,
Jerry

Link to Marriage Record HERE
Married 28 Feb 1813 (Thurles RC): Thomas Walsh of Corbally (Civil Parish of Rahelty just east of Thurles) a weaver to Anastasia Brien/O'Brien of Lurha (see Larha in the Civil parish of Drom just north of Thurles)
Witnesses: John McCoy of Corbally, Edmund Sweeny, Mary Larkin.
This marriage was likely a communal wedding seeing as the same priest wed 3 couples on the same date. Also the couple listed above them were both of Lurha (and the other couple were of Garryvicleheen in Thurles).

Hello Jerry,
I just noticed on your last correspondence with Roger that you had the names of some of the children of Thomas Walsh and Anastasia. I checked the other names that were mentioned and I did find an Ellen Walsh Baptism 28th June 1826 Parish/District Thurles, County Tipperary
Pierce Walsh Baptism 4th December 1815 Thurles, Co.Tipperary (His Mothers name is given as Anne) all the rest lines up.
The name for Anastasia on the (Irish Genealogy Site) when you check the Microfilm of the Parish Registers it is shown as Anto. This name is usually given to Males but I did notice someone else called Anto Daughter of a McCormick Baptism around 1815.
All the Best
