My ancestor Michael Maher who emigrated to Australila in 1841 claimed to be a Native of Mulroe, Tipperary, possibly South Tipperary. Can anyone please tell me where this place "Mulroe" or "Mubroe" is located. I can't find it on a map or in a Google search!

I can?t seen any place of that exact spelling. Two possibilities might be Moanroe, near Clonmel and Moyroe, Nenagh. Both are small townlands but can be found on Griffiths Valuation (when the site is working):
