Good to hear there are other Condons in the world. We seem to be almost extinct.

Although I cannot help you with your ancesters, it's possible we are connected, I'm sure.  My Michael Condon & Mary Finn left Tipperary and went to India in 1842, and as far as I can tell, none of his descendents ever went back to the auld country, but whoever he left behind may have gone on to produce your family.  He had a son, John, born in India 1860.

Mountain view is a row of houses on the Clonmel Road - some are still standing 

It appears that John Christopher was the last child born to John Condon and Ellen Ryan 26 May 1910. 

John Condon & Ellen Ryan married in St Saviours Limerick 30 Apr 1895 . Both give their addresses as Tipperary .

Michael senior died from heart failure while walking up nearby Kilshane woods May 1924 

Ellen Ryan came from St Michael's street Tipperary . Her father Henry died 5 Apr 1897 , and her brother Henry died in WW1 and is on the memorial here . Most of her family ended up in Australia and New Zealand 

John Condon died at  Mountain view 21 Nov 1938 

Ellen Ryan Condon died Mountain View 6 Jul 1942

Henry went to America

If possible I would greatly appreciate any further info on Nellie parents ;  Henry RYAN (B ??? D 5 April 1897) & Margaret Mary SCULLY (B 1848 Golden TIP, D 14 Nov 1909 TIP). I have not found Henry's birth or marriage. So am unable to get further back. They were in Chicago 1870 ( birth of Nellie)  and back in TIP 1874 (birth of Matthew)

Nellie was one of 12 children and I have identified what happened to 11 only Margaret ( Madge ) B 8 Aug 1882  is missing. Margaret was in New Zealand in 1923 but I have not found anything after that date.

As for Nellie and John's children;

Johnna Margaret was in New York USA in 1929. D ? Her husband  Thomas Patrick Hogan D New York  27 Apr 1934. I have identified 4 children; Kathleen, James, Thomas & John.

Henry was also in the New York USA,  D Jan 1968. A daughter Sheila Mary B 1931, D 1972.

John Christopher  was also in New York USA , D Jan 1979, A daughter Barbara Ann B 1937.

So Michael and Catherine are the only to that I have not traced.

Finally I think Michael Condon quoted as died May 1924  was the brother of John.  Michael Condon ( John's father) of Bank Place TIP, D 13 Jan 1920. Nellie Condon  was present at the death.    https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie

As I mentioned in my other post while I have Henry's death I have not located his birth or marriage so cannot get further back or even identify any of his sibblings.

Denis Joseph Ryan was the son of Henry Joseph Ryan and Margaret Mary Scully.  He married Hanorah "Hannah" Francis McCormack (my great grandmother) 28 Feb 1913 in New York City. He died 10 Jan 1936 in New York City. My grandmother said he was run over by a street car. He was a mechanic by trade.

Hannah was the daughter of Henry McCormack and Winifred Gilmartin, both from Ireland. Henry born Oct 1847 and died 25 Oct 1897 in Tipperary. He was a house painter. They were married 12 Jun 1864 in Cliffoney, Sligo, Ireland. They had 13 children: Tom, May, Kathleen, John, Nina, William, Daniel, Mary, Hannah, Henry Jr, Patrick, Bridget and Anna.

Denis and Hannah had 4 children:

1. Henry Francis Ryan b:6 Aug 1914 New York City d: 19 Aug 1996 Los Angeles, CA. My grandmother (his sister) said he was a trouble maker and spent most of his schooling in a reform school. They lost track of him.

2. Winifred Mary Ryan (my grandmother) b: 15 Apr 1915 New York City d: 21 Jan 1999 Melbourne, Brevard, Florida. She married George Gaylord Vandergriff 1 Jun 1946 San Antonio, Brexar, Texas. They had two children: Gaynelle Lea Vandergriff (my mother) and Patricia Ann Vandergriff. If you'd like our information, please let me know.

3. Mary Rain Ryan b: 17 Aug 1916, New York City d: 3 Dec 1917 Manhatten, New York.

4. Denis Joseph Ryan b: 27 May 1923 New York City d: 7 May 1969 Ft Lauderdale, Broward, FL. He had TB and was in and out of sanitoriums for TB patients. He had a long time girlfriend, May Marino, but it was never clear if they ever married. Either she had a daughter prior to them getting together, or they had her together - Karen b: 5 Apr 1946. Denis and May eventually divorced/seperated. He spent quite a lot of time as an accountant in the Virgin Islands.

My grandmother's family history information says Nellie was one of 13 children, not 12. Two died as children: Thomas and Bridget. All 13 children were: Daniel, Nellie, John Patrick, Matthew Joseph, Thomas, Mary Bridget "Molly", Henry Jr, Catherine Josephine "Kitty", Denis Joseph, Margaret "Madge", Thomas Joseph, Josephine Mary, and Bridget "Bridie."

I have managed to track the lines 11 of the 12 children( that I knew of). Madge is the only missing.

As yet I still have not identified when & where  Henry and Margaret married or when they went to the US.Or date of Henry's birth or his parents. Which is the block from getting further back.

Have you any further info on when and where was Daniel born or died?

Brian Burgess a grandson of Kitty  has had his DNA done and his results have confirmed that we are 2-4 cousins. We believe that Kitty & Denis's grandfather  and my John (my gt grandfather) father being our common ancestor..

Michael Junior Condon and his unmarried Sister Catherine both died in Tipperary Town and are buried with their parents in St Michael's cemetery Tipperary Town . Michael died in 1971 - still trying to find out when Catherine died but its around the same time
