Hello, I have hit a brick wall in my search. I am researching James Howay (b1809) Cloughjordan, N. Tipperary. He immigrated to Ontario Canada, along with his brother Thomas with Robert Talbert party. I can't find any information in regards to their parents or actual birthday. Thanks in advance for any tips!

Hi there,
I found a baptismal record on www.rootsireland.ie for James Howay baptised 1805 in church of Ireland parish in Birr Co. Offaly. This town is on the border of Tipperary and you'll find that many records can be recorded in both counties that straddle the border.

Hi there,
I found the record but you will have to pay to view it. The site is free to join with no membership fees. You can perform searches fro free but if you want to open the record then you will have to pay. It will cost you about €5 for this. It's not too expensive.

Only found one record of Howay in Nenagh Petty Sessions;
William Howay-Defendant; Cloughjordan
19/10/1852
but it did not give his age.
