Hariett Hunt married Thomas Baragry date unknown. They had possibly 4 children Denis, Patrick, Mary Anne (Annie) Elizabeth (Betsy).
Most of the children left Ireland in the 1850's and travelled and settled in NSW Australia.
I am interested in any information about Hariett and Thomas.
Their children were baptised in Toem.
any help would be appreciated.
kind regards
Therese

Dear Therese:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out. The Cappawhite parish registers are available online for free through the National Library of Ireland Catholic parish registers section. The link is below:
https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0252
The records start in 1815 so you should be able to find some information for your ancestors. I did note that the name Baragry may be a variant of Berkery and you might note this for future reference. I also looked at the 1901 Census for Baragry families and I noted that there are a number of Baragry families in the Donohill District Electoral Division which is very close to Cappawhite.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Jane

Therese,
Harriet DeVere Hunt was the daughter of Vere Dawson Hunt (1774-1829) and Mary Holmes (1788-1861). Her Hunt grandparents were Vere Dawson Hunt Sr. (1750-?) and Elizabeth Davis (1760-1792). Vere Dawson was the son of Henry Hunt (1721-1802) and Elizabeth Bradshaw (1727-1813). I have more on that family. Please email me and I'll share what I have.I'm a DNA cousin to some of the Baragrys in Australia.
