Hi Katherine
www.rootsireland.ie/ (a subscription site)has 3 birth & 1 baptism record of Michael McCormack 1855 + - 10 years.
Only 1 of the 4 is from GORTICASTLE:
Civil Birth Record: birth 1 Jun 1865 baptised 14 Jun 1865
Address Gorticastle Parish Gortin county Tyrone
Father Michael McCormack Farmer; mother Margaret McCullagh
I couldn't find any siblings for Michael or a marriage for these parents.
Griffiths Valuation (free site www.askaboutireland.ie/) has 19 McCormacks in Upper Bodoney, Tyrone in 1859
Assisted Immigration Passneger Lists on ancestry.com.au has a Michael McCormack arriving 1883 age 18 (born 1865) on the Ellora

Michael McCormick is listed in Griffiths 1859 on plot 15 in Gorticashel Upper, a 37 acre farm. Today that?s on the Gorticashel Rd near the junction with the Glencullin Rd. The revaluation records show Michael jointly farming it with John (Jack) McC from 1872. Then Patrick in 1885 and then Felix in 1891. This looks to be Felix in 1911:

There were about 6 McCormick/McCormack farms in the townland. They?ll likely all be related.
3 probate abstracts on the PRONI wills site for 1 McCormick and 2 McCormacks in the townland.

Full files should be in PRONI in paper format.
