Hi Joe, Don't know if I can help you. Clonfeacle was/is part of Eglish Parish. I purchased this wonderful historical book called the Book of Eglish. In it is an entire chapter devoted to one Hammill family. There is much historical info in the book and many, many names though not in genealogical format. I descend from the Carbery/Donnelly families of Eglish/Clonfeacle so I've been doing quite a bit of searching. These families, including the Hammills and Hughes, etc. are all connected. It's a very small parish. Now, my Carbery ancestor (and wife Catherine Donnelly) came over to Quebec, Canada in the early 1840s. If you want more info re the book, etc., you can email me at dancingmaples@hotmail.com. Might also say I did connect with my Carberys over there and I have had some contact with an Hammill descendent - she wrote the chapter in the book. She might be able to help you. Anyway, let me know and email me.
