I have strong ties with Donegal,and with a dna match on a well known site I’m now looking in Wexford. I know “unknown” Forristall born circa 1760 left for Newfoundland with two sons Michael 1792 and John 1794.I have a mother Ann Mulroney is the spelling and that’s all.Any info would be much appreciated.

Michael Forristall and Anne Foley were my Great Great Great Great grandparents. Do you know where Michael Forristall was born - I assume in Ireland, if his father "left for Newfoundland" with his two sons? Are you aware of any more information on the "unknown" father of Michael. We are planning a trip to Ireland and it would be good to be able check out the area from which the family came.
