,Hello, Would this be the right parish for the placename of 'Crosskeys'? I am sure I am in the right general area but I don't have a town land name, and only a place name. It was mentioned in a ballad written by my ancestor, So I am going by the location of the Crosskeys Inn in Toome, County Antrim. Many thanks.

I don't know for sure. I know that there is a Crosskeys in County Kildare also, but if you think that Antrim is the correct place, then stick with that. Otherwise you could post your message of the Kildare parish page here: http://www.irelandxo.com/group/kildangan-kildare
What period in time are you talking about? You might be able to find more from lists such as the 1901 and 1911 census: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ ot the following:
You could also try checking the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64).
