I grew up 6 miles from Ardfert and my sister lives there now I am now living in Chicago, there is no longer Guerins living in Ardfert, there was a Guerin who played hurling for Kilmoyley in the 1960's which is the next village over from Ardfert but both are considered to be in the same Parish, the village I'm from is Ballyheigue and there is Guerin families there.Through my family I'm sure I could dig up some more info.
