Hello Dennis, are you still out there, I am part of the fast response unit for the site, in reality I have been asked to look at old unanswered queries on the site and you are the current holder of the silvder medal but enough rubbish.

Since you posted Kerry church records are now free online and it appears to me that the McGilicuddy / Leslie are all from the Kerry area and Church of Ireland, (Anglican) at that remove we depend on church records, the site is here and I see a Sara but mother is a Crudd I think or similar. You can search here https://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/ it is a free site but you must sign in etc put Kerry in under the church records, the records for the church are only Kerry; Cork and Dublin currently. Civil marriages from 1845 are on the site for Prostestant and all BMDs from 1864. 

I notice the Leslie are some in Leslie Lodge so appears to be a family of importance there, you could follow up with the Kerry Library or Archives to see if any family records survive, there are also private groups on Facebook doing genealogy for Ireland and I assume Kerry. It is possible they are related to the Leslie family of Castle Leslie, still there, land ownership for the titled class was huge and spread over various counties but most likely a different branch. McLysaghts says Leslie name arrived in Monaghan in the 17th century from Scotland. It was a Leslie from Monaghan who carried the order while wounded and weak and got it wrong leading the famous Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava, he changed his name after so as not to bring shame on his family.
