According to family bible records, my ggg-grandmother, Mary Donlan, was born on 6/2/1791 at Ennis, County Clare, Ireland.  She married my ggg-grandfather, John Graves, but I don't know when or where.  By 1830, and possibly earlier, they were living at Potsdam, St. Lawrence Co., New York, U.S.A.  In 1839, John and Mary and their children moved to Abington, Wayne Co., Indiana, U.S.A., where Mary died on 1/30/1852.  I don't know where she is buried.

Recently unearthed family records indicate that possible Donelan family relatives came from Ogdensburg and/or Waddington on the St. Lawrence River in St. Lawrence Co.

Historical research indicates that the Donelan family may have migrated from Ireland first to Montreal, Canada, and then journeyed to St. Lawrence Co., crossing the St. Lawrence River in the process.

My suspicion is that the Graves and Donelan families migrated from St. Lawrence Co. to Wayne Co. contemporaneously.

I would like to find Mary's connection to Ennis and correspond with any possible new cousins!
