I am so pleased to find your posting. I live outside of Boston, Massachusetts in the United States and have been conducting geneology research on my family for the past 15 years. Patrick and Bridget Crowley lived in Boston. They married in 1864 and emigrated to Boston (on the SS Pavonia) in 1891. Patrick is my great-great grandfather on my father's mother's side. Their children included: Charles, James, John, Maurice, Lucy and Patrick.
Patrick and his son Patrick both died in 1904 as did his son Patrick (9 days apart, both from pneumonia). I have a great deal of information on the Crowley clan that landed in Boston in 1891 b ut am looking for more information on their life in Sneem prior to emigrating.
Please feel free to contact me: cluska@verizon.net

I anyone has any info on Charles Crowley (b1808) and Ellen Downes (b1811), I would be very interested.
Thank you.
