Do you have Michael?s birth date from his gravestone? If you do, you may be able to find his birth record/baptismal cert in parish records. This will have his parents? names on it. Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which you may find useful is the irishtimes, where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. Dromiskin Civil Parish is most likely in Darver Roman Catholic parish. To see what records are available in Darver follow this link:

You could also try searching for some records of the family at www.familysearch.org . This is a huge database of genealogical records which have been complied by the Church of the Latter Day Saints. You may find a family record here that gives you some more information.
