of course we cannot be certain that they are yours..they have a daughter Mary in 1857.

Dear Doug,

can I suggest that you do a little more digging, Census records, naturalization records, wills etc. in the States to see if this would shed more light so that we can narrow down the search? This would assist us greatly. Sometimes in your Census we find other family members  living with or beside the one we seek and this helps us enormously here.

Another possible source is the Emigrant Savings Bank, if your family saved there or sent money home from there, those records are very thorough.

Also post Anna's details on the Galway board as often women kept closer ties with home.
