Hi
I'm looking for any information on Ellen Hellen, Hellin. She came to Australia on the 'John Knox' arrived Sydney 29th April 1850, part of the Earl Grey scheme, Orphans. I have records showing that her mother Mary was alive & living in Bandon when Ellen came to Australia. I believe she is RC.

I so thank you...& I'm not ungratful but I can't read the entry wherre ellen comes in...sorry to be a pain but what line is Ellen & I also have her as being born 1834 or there about. Her shipping docs had her as being 16 when she arrived in Australia & the marriage certificate & death cert match supposedly with this date... 1832 is a little early...again not being ungratful..but very gratful with anything.
