My grandfathers sister Ellen Kennedy was born in Graignagower, Co. Waterford in 1881. She emigrated to America and went through Ellis Island on July 7th 1901. She went to join her cousin Mary Doyle in 61 SouthGrove Street, New York. She then married a few years later to a man called Cullinane. She lived at 590 main Street , Bridgeport Connecticut.USA.
Her brother Patrick Kennedy went to join her in 1905, but he eventually returned to Ireland .
I would love to know if she ever had children, or if there are any descendants of hers living.
If anyone in the United States has any information, then I'd love to hear from you. (I know this is a longshot!!)

Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reasonwhy they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given atthe port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g.Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -And perhaps evenfind out an exact place of origin. Many thanks for reading my post and sending a reply. I actually live in Ireland and would love to know what happened to this woman. All the information posted is from reliable sources. I have her birth cert, her record going through ellis island and all that information contained therin.
I have all the family history preceding her emigration to the united states but the trail goes cold there in Bridgeport.
