Looking for info about my gr grandparents,  Patrick McManus, dead before 1901, son of Thomas, married to Margaret Gallagher, abt 1854-aft 1911, dtr of Ed.  They were married 01/19/1874 in Monea and had 8 children.  4 boys and 4 girls,  1 boy and 3 girls came to US, others stayed in Ireland.  I do have a great deal of info about the family,  looking for more info about Thomas, who was his wife, what happened to them and where,  and what happened to Patrick and Margaret, when did they die, where are they buried?    Also, their daughter Brigid married Thomas Leonard abt 1898, they had 4 children, would like to find them also.

Thanks,

  • Anne Marie:

Below are the 1901 and 1911 census records for Thomas and Bridget Leonard. As of 1911, they had one child.

Regarding the death dates for Patrick and Margaret McManus, you may want to try www.familysearch.org or another site that has death index data. There are a number of Patrick McManus who died before 1901 in the Enniskillen registration district. I did find a death index record for Maggie McManus in Enniskillen district. Not sure if this is your Margaret. In any evnt, you would need to write to the GRO to get copies of death records. www.groireland.ie

  • Boho civil parish has no equivalent RC parish. Toneel North may well be in Devenish rather than Cleenish.

Details of records available - other than those in the church are listed on this site.
