I am looking for information on John (Sean) O'Donnell. I did have someone send me a message indicating that they had found baptism records for a John O'Donnell in July 1797 in your parish. I have found information that his birthdate could be 1797 or 1799. i am having trouble finding out much about him back in Ireland. He married Margaret Carroll in Ireland & I believe two of their children, Thomas & Mary were both born in Ireland before emigrating to Canada. Hope someone can help.

there are a lot of John Donnell baptism's - this is the only one in July of either of those years - I do recommend you have a look at this website : http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/
I tried to find his marriage there aren't any to a Margaret O'Carroll but there are Mary's etc so suggest you try with just a surname to see if you can find their marriage - then look for the childrens births baptism's
also at the bottom of the page of Johns baptism's click on the link to see the scanned image of the Register
I also looked on : www.familysearch.org website
