I have done most of my family tree in the Co Antrim area but the John McNiece married Jane Christy, Belfast, 1860, and apparently came from Dublin. Also Elizabeth O'Brien who married Johns son in 1898, Belfast, she came from Dublin. Elizabeths father was James and her mother Mary Anne Smith both from Dublin. I have sourced the following,LDS Church, PRONI, GRO, 1901&1911 Cencus, Family Search and Roots plus Street Directorys. I would be very grateful for any advice or help you can give me. Margaret Haddock PS I used to stay with the O'Briens, Hannah and Willie, I think the address was 30 Temple Bar, the year was 1950, they later moved to Thomas Street and were living there in 1962.

Hello Maggie,
Thanks for your message,
Are you looking for information on the family of Elizabeth O’Brien? The Genealogy Ireland site has a marriage record of James O’Brien and Mary Ann Smith
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/57e6a60098651
And also the record of the baptism of an Elizabeth O’Brien in 1880
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details/3c4da30346790
If these are the O’Brien’s you seek perhaps further researching on the site will reveal more.
Best regards Michael
