My great great great grandfather was Patrick Walsh born in Tipperary. He emigrated to Canada and settled in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His wife was Bridget Walsh (maiden name also Walsh) from Kilkenny. She was born in 1815 and died in 1892 (in Halifax). I don't have a birth or death date for him. They had four sons, William, Patrick (died young), Thomas James (born 1854 died 1929, married Barbara Stewart of Moncton, New Brunswick), and John (born 1860-ish and died 1918 from injuries sustained in the Halifax Explosion 1917). John worked for the railroad in Halifax.
Any information on who or where he was from or related to in Kilkenny and who might be my relations, I thank you for your assistance. I'm coming in September - can't wait!
