Have been searching for years but am close finding above names in the Kilfian area. What RC churches are in the area? Carlin or CAROLIN family had one child born in Mayo either Terance or Catherine them they sailed for Canada settling in Grenville Quebec. Neighbors from Mayo show up in Grenville. A Terrance Carrolan, same family, purchased land in Grenville in May 1833.
Need to find a marriage record between James CAROLIN/Carlin and Mary Doherty about 1825 to 1830. Mother of James was Margaret Davitt. She had a sister, Sarah Davitt, married to Anthony McAndrew. Margaret married Anthony Carolan/Carlin about 1795 in Mayo.

There are two female Carolins listed on kilfiancrosskin.com:
February 22, 1827 - Thomas McHugh and Mary Carolin, Ratheskin; witnesses, Pat McHugh and Bridget Flynn
Baptisms - 1838
February 23 - John for John Geraghty and EleanorGallagher, Errew; sp. Martin Geraghty and FannyCarolin
Unfortunately, there aren't good records back much further.
