My great grandfather, Jeremiah Connolly and his wife Julia Sullivan, their son Timothy Connolly, left Ireland in the year 1852 to 1854 and came to Canada. In the Canadian Census, they were in Canada in 1954. Julia does not appear on the Census leading me to believe that she may have died on the voyage to Canada or in Ireland shortly before my great grandfather began his journey. They were from County Kerry.

I recommend that you look at www.irishgenealogy.ie I did a quick scan and found the baptism record below from 1848. The townland is likely Knockduff in Kilcaskan civil parish which is in southern Co. Kerry bordering Co. Cork

Thank you for the infor. I tried the web site you recommended. It wasn't a free site. I would have cost me and I'm not prepared to pay for these services. Are you aware of sites that are free of charge? Also, I noticed that the Father Occupation had the letters "NR". Do you know what this signifies? Thank you again.

www.irishgenealogy.ie is a free site sponsored by the Irish government. The record I sent you for Ann Connelly came from that site. I believe the N/R stands for Not Recorded. Let me know if you have further questions.
