I can help with the parish. More than likely you are interested in the Kilnaleck in Crosserlough civil parish which is in south central Co. Cavan. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilnaleck

There is also a townland called Kilnaleck in Annagh civil parish which is in northern Co. Cavan bordering Co. Monaghan.

I checked the 1856 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Crosserlough parish and there was a Bernard Connatty in Kilnaleck.

  • Kilnaleck is a town located in Tehedan townland, Crosserlough Parish. Check the 1821 census and you'll find lots of Conatys.
